Volpy is a startup specializing in smartphone trade-in, refurbishment, and resale. The platform allows users to evaluate, sell, and trade their old devices, which are then reconditioned and resold to extend their lifespan. In addition to refurbished phones, Volpy also offers brand-new devices for purchase, providing a seamless and transparent buying and selling experience. By simplifying the resale process, Volpy promotes a more sustainable and circular approach to smartphone consumption.
📌 Project Overview
In Spring 2021, Volpy launched the development of an iOS app to optimize the smartphone reselling experience. The goal was to create a more engaging and interactive user journey than the existing website, while working within a small team with limited resources.
🎯 Objective
Design an intuitive and fun testing journey for users selling their phones.
Ensure a transparent and reassuring pricing process that aligns with user expectations.
Deliver a fast and efficient MVP despite tight deadlines and a lean team structure.
